Site-wide script execution via UI-configurable menu HTML
Published Mar 28, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025
Cross-site scripting in MISP before 2.4.193 allows remote authenticated users with admin privileges to inject JavaScript across every page. The server-settings definition omits the cli_only restriction for menu_custom_right_link_html, allowing the UI to persist markup rendered site-wide. An administrator or hijacked administrator account is required, and visiting any page executes the stored script in users' browsers.
