CVE-2024-58104

Local code execution via UI Manager bypass

Published Mar 25, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Code execution in Trend Micro Apex One and Apex One as a Service agents allows local users to run arbitrary code via the Plug-in UI Manager. Trend Micro has not disclosed the precise operation by which the Security Agent Plug-in User Interface Manager mishandles input or bypasses existing security controls. Exploitation requires low-privileged code execution on an affected Windows endpoint and user interaction; successful exploitation executes attacker-controlled code on that endpoint.
