Administrator-session script execution via unescaped eid parameter
Published Jul 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in WP Ajax Contact Form 2.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via a crafted eid parameter. The dform administration page returns the POST eid value in its response without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to submit an attacker-controlled form, and the script runs in that administrator’s browser context.
