Error-handling flaw in the ASoC PCM layer of the Linux kernel allows local users to cause an unspecified availability impact. The shared soc_pcm_ret helper suppresses every -EINVAL diagnostic, although only PCM prepare callbacks handle invalid userspace parameters often enough to justify that suppression.
