Stored XSS via unescaped project_url metadata
Published Jun 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Ravichandra Ch Infinite 1.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via project_url. The project metabox accepts the project_url field without sufficient sanitization and later renders the stored value without context-appropriate output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the injected script executes in the browser of each user who views an affected page.
