Local service interruption via unchecked DMA mapping failure

Linux kernel ALSA 6.12 through 6.12.7 allows local users to interrupt service by triggering a failed DMA mapping. sound/core/memalloc.c compares the returned address directly with DMA_MAPPING_ERROR instead of calling dma_mapping_error(), allowing a failed mapping to reach later DMA handling. Reachability requires local PCM activity, compatible ALSA hardware, and a mapping failure; mishandled mappings can panic the kernel or silently corrupt data.
