Hard-coded credentials in IXON B.V. IXrouter IX2400 3.0 allow physically proximate attackers to gain root access via UART or SSH. The device stores a fixed root credential in non-volatile flash and accepts it for the UART and SSH administrative interfaces. Physical proximity and low-privileged access are required; successful authentication grants full root control of the gateway.
