Database access via unchecked user ID interpolation
Published Jun 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Netentsec NS-ASG Application Security Gateway 6.3 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data. The deleteiscuser.php handler iterates over messagecontent-derived user IDs and inserts each value directly into an SQL statement without validation. A valid PHP session is required, and successful exploitation exposes the gateway database to unauthorized reads or changes.
