Administrator password hash disclosure via unrestricted user list
Published Apr 29, 2025 · Updated Apr 30, 2025
Information disclosure in ModernWMS 1.0 allows remote attackers to read the MD5 hash of the administrator password without authentication. The user-list endpoint with the English locale parameter returns account records, including auth_string, without enforcing a valid session or access-control check. A network request alone exposes the administrator hash and other account attributes; no credentials or interaction are required.
