Unauthenticated wireless MAC ACL modification via POST
Published Jan 16, 2025 · Updated Feb 3, 2025
Incorrect authorization in D-Link DIR-816 A2 firmware 1.10CNB05_R1B011D88210 allows remote attackers to alter both wireless MAC ACLs. The form2WlAc.cgi handler accepts a crafted POST request and writes the supplied 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz access-control settings without enforcing authorization. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting configuration change can admit or block devices on either wireless band.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
