Network interruption via spoofed link-state messages

Denial of service in Floodlight 1.2 allows local users to interrupt SDN traffic by repeatedly sending crafted LLDP packets. Topology Manager accepts the spoofed link-state messages and removes an external legacy-switch link from its topology, after which TopologyInstance and Routing no longer forward affected flows. A host attached to a legacy switch can sustain the condition, leaving endpoints across that external link unable to communicate.
