CVE-2024-5762Network attack vector

Remote code execution via unvalidated PHP include

Published Aug 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024

PHP file inclusion in Zen Cart 1.5.8a allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted admin-page lookup. The findPluginAdminPage function passes insufficiently validated user-supplied data to a PHP include operation, allowing a chosen local file to be loaded as code. Authentication is not required, but code execution in the service-account context requires chaining the inclusion flaw with another vulnerability.
