CVE-2024-5759Network attack vector

Authenticated object disclosure via missing privilege checks

Published Jun 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Improper privilege management in Tenable Security Center 6.3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to view objects and launch scans. Tenable has not disclosed the affected endpoint or authorization-check locus; published materials state only that the application permits these operations without the required privileges. Reachability requires a valid remote account, and impact is limited to unauthorized object disclosure and scan execution under permissions the account lacks.
