Email validation bypass in Lunary 1.2.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to create multiple accounts tied to one Gmail mailbox. The account-registration email check treats dotted Gmail aliases as distinct addresses instead of normalizing them before synchronization. Unauthenticated network access to registration is sufficient; duplicate identities can desynchronize account data, with no published code-execution impact.
