Authenticated process crash via unbounded stack copy

Stack-based buffer overflow in Linksys E8450 firmware 1.2.00.360516 allows remote authenticated users to crash the affected process. The portal.cgi dashboard security handler passes the attacker-controlled ipv6_protect_status length to strncpy, copying the parsed field into a stack destination without a proper bound. Exploitation requires authenticated access from an adjacent network and a crafted dashboard configuration request; the published proof of concept demonstrates a program crash.
