Authenticated code execution via unrestricted PHP upload
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 13, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Code-Projects Online Car Rental System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute server commands. The /admin/changeimage1.php endpoint accepts the img1 upload without checking its extension or MIME type, then stores executable PHP under /admin/img/vehicleimages/. Valid administrator credentials and access to the uploaded file's URL are required; successful exploitation runs commands in the web server's security context.
