Account lockout via duplicate login-name overwrite
Published Jan 29, 2025 · Updated Jan 29, 2025
Denial of service in RuoYi 4.8.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with user-management privileges to block account logins. The resetPwdSave path accepts a submitted loginName, and resetUserPwd overwrites the stored value without checking username uniqueness. User-management permission is required; duplicate names make authentication return multiple records and prevent affected accounts, including administrators, from logging in.
