Authenticated server-path disclosure via orderby errors
Published Jan 29, 2025 · Updated Feb 5, 2025
SQL injection in RuoYi 4.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to disclose server paths through the online-user list endpoint. The orderby handler accepts nonexistent database-column names, triggers backend errors, and returns unsanitized error details to the requester. Normal user privileges reach the endpoint; demonstrated disclosure includes the server user's local directory, while broader injection requires bypassing input filtering.
