Stored XSS via unneutralized Internet Pictures input
Published Feb 10, 2025 · Updated Feb 10, 2025
Stored XSS in the Parameter List module of cool-admin-java 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The rich-text editor stores a crafted Internet Pictures field value and renders it without neutralizing injected HTML when the entry is edited again. Administrative access is required to save the payload, and another user must reopen the entry; execution is limited to that user's browser context.
