Sensitive-data exposure via unescaped alert parameter
Published Jan 17, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Cross-site scripting in sunnygkp10 Online Exam System master allows remote attackers to read sensitive data through the w parameter. The index.php page copies the GET w value directly into a JavaScript alert string without JavaScript-context escaping, allowing crafted input to terminate the string and run script. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted URL; injected script runs in that victim's browser under the application's origin.
