Web root path disclosure via JPATH_BASE use
Published Jun 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Full path disclosure in AdmirorFrames before 5.0 allows remote attackers to obtain the web root path through afHelper.php image handling. The script uses Joomla's JPATH_BASE value directly when constructing the templates_BASE image path, thereby exposing the absolute installation location. No authentication or user interaction is required; the disclosed value is limited to the web root location, with no reported file-content access or modification.
