Administrator-session script execution via unescaped pid parameter
Published Jun 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in Simple AL Slider 1.2.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The simpleal_slider_show admin page returns the pid query parameter into its HTML response without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires an administrator to open the crafted URL while authenticated; injected script then runs with that browser session's access.
