Authenticated script execution via unescaped returnto reflection
Published Feb 7, 2025 · Updated Feb 7, 2025
Reflected XSS in LDAP User Manager through ce92321 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted returnto parameter. The /setup/index.php endpoint reflects the returnto value into its HTML response without neutralizing executable markup. A victim must interact with the crafted request while authenticated, allowing script to read or alter data available in that browser session.
