Memory corruption via overflowing symlink allocation

Memory corruption in U-Boot before 2025.01-rc1 and RUGGEDCOM ROX before 2.17.1 allows physically proximate attackers to overwrite memory. ext4fs_read_symlink adds one to an untrusted 32-bit inode size before zalloc, so 0xffffffff wraps to zero and the subsequent symlink read exceeds the allocation. Exploitation requires a crafted ext4 filesystem to reach an ext4-enabled bootloader; arbitrary code execution has not been confirmed.
