Image disclosure via omitted authentication headers
Published Feb 7, 2025 · Updated Feb 11, 2025
Incorrect access control in GleamTech FileVista 9.2.0.0 allows remote attackers to read sensitive images through unauthenticated preview requests. The preview function accepts requests after authentication-related HTTP headers, including Cookie, are removed, bypassing the login check instead of rejecting the request. No credentials or user interaction are required, but CISA rates reachability as adjacent-network and reports confidentiality impact only.
