Unauthenticated open redirect via unchecked GET input
Published Feb 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 18, 2025
Open redirect in DedeCMS 5.71sp1 and earlier allows remote attackers to redirect requests to arbitrary sites through a crafted GET request. The download.php endpoint accepts attacker-controlled redirect input from the query string without validating the destination before issuing the redirect. No authentication is required; a crafted link can send traffic away from the trusted DedeCMS origin, while public records do not identify the exact parameter.
