Browser script execution via reflected cmd parameter
Published Feb 3, 2025 · Updated Mar 3, 2025
Reflected XSS in Prolink DL-7203E firmware 4.0.0B05 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through a crafted cmd parameter. The /reqproc/proc_get endpoint places cmd input into a text/html response without sanitization, causing a browser to interpret the reflected value as executable markup. The request needs no authentication, but a user must load it; script execution can read Wi-Fi credentials or send router-changing requests in that user's session.
