Authenticated command execution via unsanitized ifname parameter
Published Jan 10, 2025 · Updated Jan 16, 2025
Command injection in Linksys E7350 firmware 1.1.00.032 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands over the local network. The apcli_do_enr_pbc_wps handler accepts command separators in the ifname URL-path value, causing injected shell text to execute. A valid sysauth session and access to the router's adjacent management network are required; successful exploitation runs commands on the router.
