Authenticated command execution via unsanitized ifname route
Published Jan 10, 2025 · Updated Jan 13, 2025
Command injection in Linksys E7350 firmware 1.1.00.032 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via a crafted ifname value. The apcli_do_enr_pin_wps handler accepts the ifname route segment without neutralizing shell metacharacters before command execution. Exploitation through the published route requires an authenticated LuCI session; successful injection runs commands with the handler's privileges.
