Authenticated command execution via WPS ifname injection
Published Jan 10, 2025 · Updated Jan 13, 2025
Command injection in Linksys E7350 firmware 1.1.00.032 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through a crafted WPS request. The LuCI route passes its trailing path argument as ifname to apcli_wps_gen_pincode, where shell metacharacters in the value are executed. The published proof includes a sysauth cookie and demonstrates file creation, establishing authenticated command execution rather than unauthenticated reachability.
