Unauthenticated root code execution via cluster API
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 26, 2024
Missing authentication in Logsign Unified SecOps Platform 6.4.6 through 6.4.7 allows remote attackers to execute code as root via HTTP. The cluster HTTP API on TCP port 1924 authorizes access to code-execution functionality without first authenticating the request. The API must be enabled and reachable; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code with root privileges, enabling complete host compromise.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=6.4.6
