Authentication bypass via mismatched path normalization
Published Feb 21, 2025 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Authentication bypass in Antabot White-Jotter 0.2.2 allows remote attackers to access protected administrative endpoints via crafted URLs. The shiroFilter rules compare the unnormalized request path against /api/admin/**, while a semicolon-delimited traversal path reaches the normalized administrative route without matching either authentication filter. No account is required; demonstrated access reaches the administrative article-content upload endpoint.
