Authenticated file deletion via unsanitized traversal path
Published Mar 18, 2025 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Path traversal in SOPlanning 1.53.00 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary server files through a crafted request. In www/process/upload.php, fichier_to_delete is concatenated directly with the upload directory and passed to file deletion without sanitizing traversal sequences. Valid application credentials and network access are required; deleting configuration or application files can interrupt the service or destroy data.
