Unauthenticated admin access via unnormalized request paths
Published Aug 20, 2025 · Updated Aug 21, 2025
Authentication bypass in mySite 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to access administrative components through crafted request paths. BaseInterceptor.preHandle compares an unnormalized request URI with protected and excluded /admin prefixes, then returns true for traversal or encoded paths that evade those checks. No credentials or user interaction are required; an excluded-prefix path can reach administrative handlers, including one that deletes comments.
