Authenticated code execution via customer-save SQL injection
Published Mar 18, 2025 · Updated Mar 31, 2025
SQL injection in rainrocka Xinhu 2.6.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through customer saves. The inputAction.saveAjax path builds a database save from user-controlled fields without safely handling a backslash that terminates a quoted value. A valid Xinhu session and customer-save request are required; the demonstrated payload performs time-based blind SQL injection.
