Unauthorized state changes via missing CSRF validation
Published Jun 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in the latest Stition Devika version allows remote attackers to delete projects through a victim's browser. The POST /api/delete-project handler accepts a project name and deletes its files and state without validating a CSRF token or request origin. A victim must load attacker-controlled content while the local web interface is reachable, enabling project deletion and unauthorized settings changes.
