CVE-2024-5710Network attack vector

Cross-team administration via missing endpoint authorization

Published Jun 27, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2025

Missing authorization in LiteLLM before 1.40.15 allows remote authenticated users to administer teams outside their membership. The proxy's team-management endpoints accept a valid low-privilege API key but fail to verify that the caller owns or belongs to the target team before reading or changing its record and membership. Any valid proxy user can therefore create, view, update, delete, block, or unblock arbitrary teams and add or remove their members.
