Application denial of service via prototype pollution
Published Feb 5, 2025 · Updated Feb 6, 2025
Prototype pollution in vxe-table 4.8.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt applications through crafted setup data. The lib.install and lib.setup entry points accept an object containing proto and write attacker-selected properties into the global Object prototype chain. The consuming application must pass attacker-controlled configuration data to either entry point, after which polluted properties disrupt its execution.
