Authenticated code execution via unrestricted dashboard JNDI identifiers
Published Feb 19, 2025 · Updated Feb 20, 2025
Resource injection in Pentaho Data Integration and Analytics before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute code. The Community Dashboard Framework accepts unrestricted JNDI identifiers when creating Community Dashboards and resolves them as system-level data sources. A low-privileged authenticated user who can create a Community Dashboard can use a crafted identifier to read or modify sensitive resources and execute code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
