System process execution via misapplied access checks
Published Feb 19, 2025 · Updated Feb 20, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Pentaho Business Analytics Server before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to run system processes. Modules enabled by default apply access-control checks incorrectly before invoking system-level processes; Hitachi Vantara has not identified the modules or request path. Low-privileged network access is required, and successful exploitation can expose information, alter server data, or interrupt the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.0 <9.3.0.9
