Authenticated command execution via unchecked week parameter
Published Jan 15, 2025 · Updated Mar 14, 2025
OS command injection in TOTOLINK X5000R firmware 9.1.0cu.2350_B20230313 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. setScheduleCfg passes the unvalidated week value through Uci_Set_Str to CsteSystem, which ultimately invokes execv. Access to the authenticated network interface is required; successful injection executes operating-system commands on the router.
