Administrator-browser script execution via stored address
Published Jan 21, 2025 · Updated Jan 21, 2025
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Hospital Management System 4.0 allows attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. edit-profile.php copies the address POST parameter directly into the users table without neutralizing script markup, which is later rendered by admin/manage-users.php. A patient account is required to store the payload, and an administrator must open the user-management page for execution in the administrator's browser context.
