Administrator-browser script execution via stored login email
Published Jan 21, 2025 · Updated Jan 21, 2025
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Hospital Management System 4.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The doctor login handler stores an unsanitized Email value in doctorslog after a failed login, and admin/doctor-logs.php renders it without output encoding. No valid doctor account is required; execution occurs when an authenticated administrator views the doctor log, exposing that browser session to script actions.
