Information disclosure in Firefox Screenshots before 127 allows remote attackers to detect when a user captures a page. The legacy screenshot overlay injects a frame into page-visible content, allowing page script to observe the frame and its unique moz-extension identifier. A user must visit the site and invoke Firefox’s built-in Screenshot feature; the site learns the capture event and can correlate the browser identifier over time.
