Application crash via premature text-buffer release

Memory corruption in Mozilla Firefox before 127, Firefox ESR before 115.12, and Thunderbird before 115.12 allows remote attackers to trigger a crash. nsTextFragment::SetTo releases existing text before confirming that allocation of the replacement buffer succeeded, leaving caret processing with invalid state after an out-of-memory failure. A remote page must induce allocation failure while changing an input element's text; the demonstrated consequence is a crash, although the corrupted state showed instruction-pointer control.
