Unauthorized account changes via missing CSRF protection
Published Jan 22, 2025 · Updated Jan 23, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Code Astro Internet Banking System 2.0.0 allows remote attackers to change administrator account details. pages_account.php accepts account-update requests without a CSRF token or equivalent request-origin validation, so a crafted HTML page can submit attacker-chosen name and email values. Exploitation requires an administrator to be authenticated and load the crafted page; successful requests alter that administrator's stored account information.
