Command injection in Siemens RUGGEDCOM ROX II before 2.17.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The Dynamic DNS configuration path accepts attacker-controlled input as additional command parameters instead of confining it to the intended value. Low-privileged network access and additional conditions not detailed by Siemens are required; successful exploitation spawns a reverse shell with root access.
