Stored DOM-based XSS in FooPlugins FooBox 2.7.28 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through HTML data attributes. FooBox renders user-supplied WordPress caption titles and descriptions into lightbox HTML data attributes without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to persist the payload, which executes in the browser whenever a user opens the affected page.
