Kernel warning via sleep-unsafe GPIO setter

Improper GPIO handling in affected Linux kernels allows local users to trigger a kernel warning through CAN termination control. The can_set_termination function passes a potentially sleeping termination GPIO to gpiod_set_value, which cannot sleep in that call context. Reachability requires a CAN interface whose termination GPIO can sleep, such as one behind an I2C expander; the documented consequence is a kernel warning.
