Kernel memory corruption via requeued Bluetooth work

Use-after-free in Linux kernel Bluetooth HCI connection handling in 3.3 through 6.12.4 allows adjacent attackers to corrupt kernel memory. The hci_conn_cleanup path cancels delayed work while freeing an hci_conn object but fails to prevent that work from being queued again against the released object. Bluetooth proximity is required, but the public record does not detail how the corruption is converted into data access or a system interruption.
